The Spears line is also said to originate from England.  The furthest I have
managed to get on this family is Levin Spears in about 1775 in North Carolina. 
After that they move to Jonesboro Tn., Giles Tn, Johnston County Oklahoma, San Bernardino California, and finally the Dallas Texas area.
